During a recent segment of Last Week Tonight, host John Oliver pointed out that Fox News was misrepresenting old footage, and using it to paint refugees as terrorists.
The footage that they used actually wasn’t very threatening at all, it just showed a train loaded with people chanting “Allahu akbar” or “god is great” in Arabic.
However, the caption for the story read “Terrorists inbound?”, and the Fox reporters said that this was footage of refugees that were on their way from Syria.
