(National Sentinel) Build It: While POTUS Donald Trump still has RINOs and Democrats in Congress to deal with in getting his promised border wall built, at least he doesn’t have to worry about pesky lawsuits from environmentalists.
On Monday the U.S. Supreme Court rejected a lawsuit filed by a number of environmental groups seeking to stop the border wall project by claiming it would destroy the planet or something.
The Washington Examiner reported that the SCOTUS would not consider an appeal by three environmental groups of a lower court ruling that gave the government the green light to begin replacing border fencing in two locations and building border wall prototypes.
The news site noted further:
The judge, U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel, rejected the groups’ challenge to a 1996 federal law that gives the government the power to waive environmental laws to more quickly begin work on a wall. The Department of Homeland Security sought to sidestep the laws as it pursued the projects related to construction of the border wall.

The conservation groups said the 1996 law violated the Constitution because of the power it granted the federal government.
But Curiel said that the Trump administration did not exceed its authority when it moved to waive environmental laws as a way of speeding up border wall construction.
While this ruling is favorable to the administration, it does not solve the problem of border wall funding, which must come from Congress.
The president has requested $5 billion in the current budget for funding; RINOs and Democrats, however, are rejecting it in favor of doubling down on failed ‘border security’ pledges.
