(National Sentinel) Powerful: On the heels of a report that former Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort’s attorney has been sharing with the president’s legal team what his client has told special counsel Robert Mueller during intense Q & A sessions, POTUS has tweeted a meme to his political nemesis that can be seen as a threat.
The meme shows several Deep State figures including Mueller, the Clintons, former President Obama, and others behind bars with this caption: “Now that Russia collusion is a proven lie, when do the trials for treason begin?”

Without question, that’s a powerful message when it is coming from the president of the United States, no matter how unorthodox it may seem.
The Wednesday tweet also comes after several others earlier this week in which POTUS described Mueller’s ongoing “Russia” investigation as a witch hunt (nothing new there) and Mueller himself as having gone “rogue.”
He also lashed out at Mueller for “destroying” the lives of people like Manafort — who has been convicted of financial crimes completely unrelated to anything having to do with Russia or the Trump campaign, and retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, the president’s first national security adviser, for “lying” to FBI investigators (whom he did not know were interrogating him).

POTUS’ tweet also comes amid conflicting reports about whether Mueller is set to wrap up his lengthy investigation, which so far has not yielded a single indictment, much less conviction, regarding his original stated mandate. Some have said the report is imminent but now that Democrats have won back control of the House, other analysts have speculated that Mueller’s investigation will continue under cover of Democratic chairmen on the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees.
Without question, even before Manafort attorney Kevin M. Downing began talking to the Trump legal team, POTUS was privy to all kinds of intelligence regarding the Obama-era “Spygate” scandal. That’s what his political opponents always fail to take into acccount, at least in public.
He knows better than anyone that the former commander-in-chief suborned underlings in the FBI, Justice Department, and U.S. intelligence community to break laws and rules in order to target and infiltrate his presidential campaign — unheard of in U.S. history — for the purposes of hijacking his candidacy and then undermining his administration after a real Russian colluder, Hillary Clinton, lost.
And now that Downing has passed along Mueller’s line of questioning to the Trump legal team, which POTUS very likely knew before he submitted written answers to Mueller’s questions last week, that puts the president in the driver’s seat.
We may never see “treason” trials even though we ought to. But it does serve a purpose, politically and otherwise, for the president to stick that out there as Mueller reportedly stews over losing his momentum.
We’ll see what is coming next from Mueller. What we know isn’t coming, however, is an indictment of the president. There’s nothing to indict him for, and by Justice Department rules, he can’t anyway.
