Fast food giant McDonalds sold 150,000 of its much-publicized McVegan burgers in January.
The burger, which launched last year, is currently only available in Finland and Sweden. It was originally trialed in a single location in Finland in October before rolling out to every outlet in both countries a couple of months later.
The burger's creators believe the high sales numbers reflect consumer desire to 'eat more plant-based foods'.
