US Marine Corps orders eight TPS-80 Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar G/ATOR systems

According to a contract released by the United States Department of Defense (DoD), on December 22, 2021, the U.S. Navy, on behalf of the Marine Corps, awarded Northrop Grumman Systems of Linthicum, Maryland, a $245.8 million modification to the firm-fixed-price portion of a previously awarded contract (M67854-19-C-0043), exercising five contract line item options to procure eight TPS-80 Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) systems, and associated spares, data, and travel.
