The delivery of Russian-made S-400 (NATO reporting name: SA-21 Growler) air defense missile systems to India has started and will continue to happen, Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said at a briefing conference following the Russian-Indian summit in New Delhi : “As for the S-400s, the contract is in force. S-400 supplies have begun and will continue to happen,” Shringla said when asked about whether this topic had been discussed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during their meeting.
