US Air Force B-1B Lancers participate in Australian Top End exercise

Two USAF Rockwell B-1B Lancer bombers have swept over the Top End for training with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). After travelling over 6,000 kilometres from Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, the B-1B crews flew emergency diversion familiarisation training at RAAF Base Darwin. Their mission included training with RAAF aviators flying P-8A Poseidon and KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport.
