Turkish Aerospace Industries exhibited its Hürjet single-engine fighter aircraft during International Defense Industry Fair, IDEF 2021, held in Istanbul from August 16 to 20.

First flight of Hürjet is planned for March 18, 2023. The date of 18 March is important for Turkey because it symbolizes Turkey’s independence and victory in the Gallipoli War, the year 2023 is also highly symbolic because it is the centennial of the Turkish Republic.
