Typhoon-PVO armored vehicles debuted at May 9, 2021 parade in Red Square. They carry man-portable air defense systems (manpads) and will be shortly supplied to the armed forces. The Izvestia daily quoted Defense Ministry sources as saying all air defense units of the Eastern Military District would be armed with Verba 9K333 manpads, mobile radars, and Typhoon-PVO vehicles. The rearmament pace will depend on the fulfillment of the arms procurement order by the industry.
