The Russian defense industry is upgrading the legendary RPG-7V2 rocket launcher, Chief of NPO Bazalt’s (a subsidiary of Rostec’s Tecmash concern) design center Nikolai Sereda told TASS on June 15: “The RPG-7V2 has already been adopted by the Russian military. At the same time, some upgrades are being introduced to the weapon under a contract with the Ministry of Defense,” said Sereda. According to him, the accuracy of the launcher will be improved through the medium of integration of new sighting systems.
