British army Boxers series production starts according to Rheinmetall plan

Britain’s Boxer programme is on a roll: exactly according to plan, welding work began on June 7 for the fabrication of prototypes and subsequent series production of the Mechanized Infantry Vehicle (MIV). Under the aegis of Artec GmbH, a joint venture of Rheinmetall and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW), this vital British wheeled armoured vehicle project is thus entering a decisive phase.
