Within the framework of the STA Project signed between SSB and FNSS in 2016, a total of 260 vehicles, including 184 Kaplan and 76 Pars were purchased for the Turkish armed forces. According to a tweet from DefenceHub, these figured have been increased: a total of 344 vehicles, including 208 Kaplan and 136 Pars will be procured, DefenceHub reports. All tracked and wheeled platforms and turret systems are expected to be included in the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces by 2022.
