Royal Air Force celebrates arrival of first CH-47 Chinook in 1980

The arrival at RAF Odiham on 22nd November 1980 of the first Royal Air Force CH-47 Chinook helicopter has been remembered. This significant milestone of 40 years of RAF service is being recognised by the stations and squadrons that operate the iconic Chinook ahead of celebrations expected in May 2021.
