A batch of SV-98 sniper rifles has been delivered to the Eastern Military District’s combined-arms army based in the Amur River region in the Far East, the Defense Ministry’s press office said : “Snipers of reconnaissance units will be the first to receive the new weapons. Sniper rifles of the type have been delivered to the army for the first time,” the press office said.
