Taiwan's defense budget in 2021 should increase by 10.2 percent compared with the 2020 one. Needless to say that it is a reaction to China's repeated firm declarations concerning its claimed sovereignty on the siland, accompanied by the firm warning to the U.S.A. not to « play with fire » in the Taiwan Strait, that leads to this decision.
