U.S. Army awards $21.8M production contract to FLIR Systems for Nerve Agent Disclosure Spray

FLIR Systems announced it has been awarded a full-rate production option worth $21.8 million on an indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with the U.S. Army. FLIR will deliver its Agentase C2 disclosure spray to detect G- and V-series nerve agents, highly toxic chemical warfare agents.
FLIR Agentase C2 spray quickly changes color on a surface if a chemical warfare agent such as VX or sarin is present. With faster and more targeted detection, military decontamination experts can locate trace levels of contamination and precisely mitigate the threat. (Picture source: Business Wire)
