Rolls-Royce to produce 16 MT7 gas turbine engines for Landing Craft Air Cushion LCAC100 Class craft

The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has announced on June 1, 2020, a contract for Rolls-Royce Corp., Indianapolis, Indiana. The company is awarded a $34,427,808 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract N00019-17-C-0081 to exercise an option for the production of 16 MT7 gas turbine engines in support of the Ship-to-Shore Connector (SSC) Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) 100 Class craft.
