US-based Tufts University researchers have developed tooth-mounted sensors which can wirelessly communicate and transmit information on glucose, salt and alcohol intake. The sensor is made up of three layers, whose electrical properties change depending on food, causing it to transmit a different spectrum of radiofrequency waves with varying intensity, said researchers.
