Shoe sole made from recycled chewing gum
Amsterdam-based Explicit and I amsterdam, along with London-based Gumdrop have developed a shoe sole which is made from recycled chewing gum. Gumdrop recycles the gum and processes it in order to create a new type of rubber, which is turned into shoes called ‘Gumshoe’. The project claims the Gumshoe is the world’s first shoe made from chewing gum.
