Left-wing nut job claims Trump’s election paved way for Russian ‘invasion’ of U.S.

(National SentinelConspiracy: Leftists hammered POTUS Donald Trump when he questioned the legitimacy of former President Barack Obama’s birth certificate, but when one of their own advances a goofy conspiracy theory that is critical of the current commander-in-chief, the “mainstream” media rushes to embrace it.

MSNBC national security analyst Malcolm Nance appeared on the network’s “The 11th Hour” program Tuesday night with disgraced and dishonest “journalist” Brian Williams to claim that Russia has been involved in a decades-old disinformation campaign with the objective of taking down the U.S.

What’s more, he claimed Moscow was targeting POTUS Trump as early as 2011 “and that the Russians targeted Mueller and black voters in an effort to aid Trump,” Real Clear Politics noted.

“What Russia has done here and where the true brilliance of this intelligence operation comes from is way back in the early 2000s the Russian military conducted a strategic study and started carrying out a disinformation plan in which they said that instead of carrying out kinetic warfare against your enemies, the best thing we can do is create a disinformation and frame around that nation to the point where over time as we are constantly tearing them apart and feeding them with false information, they would actually welcome an invasion,” he claimed.

“So Russia has done that to the United States.”

Don’t roll your eyes yet, dear reader. It gets better (or worse?).

Saying that memes and tropes” used in the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign were the equivalents of “cruise missiles,” Nance added that all this Russian disinfo has led to the election of…Trump.

“It began way before 2016,” the theorist said. “As a matter of fact, the earliest references I have with relation to Donald Trump shows that it started back in 2011 with Maria Butina and the NRA contacts, contacts with the fundamentalist Christian right and the alt-right in the United States. Russia was pushing these disinformation themes then.

“Then in 2013, they stood up the Russian Federation Internet Research Agency which built all of these memes and tropes which became the cruise missiles of fake news and disinformation designed to do what it did today, take one-third of the United States population and make them refuse to believe what they see before their very eyes and may have elected a president in the process,” he claimed.

Russians are racists too, apparently, because Nance — who is African American — repeated a well-worn Left-wing talking point: Moscow worked to “suppress the black vote” too.

“This is how effective this information warfare campaign has been carried out,” Nance said. “And let me tell you, this report shows how they went after to suppress the African-American vote and there`s no doubt in my mind or anybody else`s in the intelligence community that doesn`t believe that it took American citizens to assist them in really getting down to where these voters were who needed to be suppressed and they did it in such a fashion, one of their Twitter groups had 366,000 followers on it.”

Williams’ response? He actually told viewers the conspiracy Nance was spinning (is he working for Moscow?) “needed to be heard.”

Then again, Williams had a habit of being dishonest so that’s why he’s been relegated to a late-night little-watched MSNBC program.

Mind you, we have little doubt that Russia seeks to influence our electoral process because Russia has always sought to influence it, beginning back during the Cold War.

But Russia isn’t targeting just black voters. What’s more, Nance’s claims that Russia was working to infiltrate Trump more than five years before he decided to run for president simply feeds the same Left-wing fabrication that Trump and Russia “colluded” to “steal the election from Hillary.”
