Following the launch of the “Duplex” system, which lets AI mimic a human voice, Google has clarified that its digital assistant will identify itself to humans during calls. “We understand and value the discussion around Google Duplex… transparency in the technology is important,” a Google spokesperson said. This comes after questions were raised on the morality of the technology developed.
