Google has renamed its ‘Android Wear’ operating system designed for wearable devices like smartwatches as ‘Wear OS’. Google said one of every three new Android Wear watch owners also used an iPhone in 2017 and it wants to represent everyone who wears its watches. Users will see the change on their watches and phone apps in the next few weeks.
