Google Assistant can now make real phone calls on behalf of users, CEO Sundar Pichai demonstrated on Tuesday. The system uses artificial intelligence for conducting natural conversations to carry out real-world specific tasks like scheduling appointments. It makes the conversational experience as natural as possible, allowing people to speak like they would to another person, Google said.
