Social media major Facebook has confirmed that it scans users’ messages, photos and the links they send on Messenger in order to regulate the content which violates its standards. The company explained its automated systems scan the content and take it down in case a violation is detected. Facebook clarified that it doesn’t listen to users voice and video calls.
