(National Sentinel) Coercion: Investigative journalist and author Dr. Jerome Corsi, an associate of Trump ally Roger Stone, said Monday he will refuse a plea deal with Robert Mueller following reports last week that he was in talks with the special counsel.
Earlier this month Corsi said in a video he posted online that he expected to be indicted by Mueller whom he has said is targeting him because of his longtime support for POTUS Donald Trump.
Mueller’s team believes that Corsi was an intermediary between Stone and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and that both he and Stone knew in advance that the whistleblower site was preparing to release emails late in the 2016 presidential election cycle damaging to Hillary Clinton and her campaign manager, John Podesta.
The first of those emails was released in early October 2016. Stone and Corsi have both denied being in on the releases.
“They can put me in prison the rest of my life. I am not going to sign a lie,” Corsi told CNN in a phone call.
Asked what will happen next now that he is refusing, Corsi responded: “I don’t know.”
Corsi has said that after hours and hours of intense questioning by Mueller and his prosecutors — an ordeal he compared to “being interrogated as a POW in the Korean War” — that the special counsel was attempting to catch him in a “perjury trap.”

He maintains he has never willfully misled anyone.
Mueller’s investigation into “Russian collusion” and other nefarious activities with the 2016 Trump campaign is reportedly coming to an end. As the president tweeted Monday, he has never been remotely interested in pursuing leads regarding any Russian connections to Clinton’s campaign, which include paying for the infamous ‘Russia dossier’ that is filled with unsubstantiated garbage.
“When Mueller does his final report, will he be covering all of his conflicts of interest in a preamble, will he be recommending action on all of the crimes of many kinds from those ‘on the other side’ (whatever happened to Podesta?), and will he be putting in statements from hundreds of people closely involved with my campaign who never met, saw or spoke to a Russian during this period?” the president wrote.
He added: “So many campaign workers, people inside from the beginning, ask me why they have not been called (they want to be). There was NO Collusion & Mueller knows it!”
