You might say, but it is almost impossible to fold a piece of typical paper more than eight times. Just like so many unreferenced statements, that isn't true. The record is actually 12. Still that 12-fold piece of paper isn't even the height of a table; it's tough to visualize getting from there to the Moon in 30 folds. That's because our brains are motivated to ponder linearly, not exponentially.
