This Computer Simulation Accurately Recreates 350 Million Light-Years Of Our Universe

It seems like something taken straight out from the pages of some sci-fi novel, but scientists have produced a precise simulation of our Universe inside a powerful supercomputer, offering astronomers the exclusive ability to watch it develop in front of their eyes. Agroup of researchers from the Harvard-Smithsonian Centre for Astrophysics linked 8,000 CPUs in 2014, and generated a model that includes several equations from the last few centuries of astronomical observations that have been permitted to develop over numerous decades. After three months of continuous hard work, the team achieved to reconstruct a 350 million light-year wide cube of Universe that has virtually grown over 13 billion years.
