Astronaut Alexander Gerst has the best office view out of any human being on earth. It’s probably because Alexander’s office isn’t actually on earth, and for the last 6 months has been orbiting around our beautiful blue dot in the international space station.
Now if he wanted to, Alexander could have been selfish and keeps this amazing view all to himself. But being the awesome guy that he is, Mr. Gerst brought an Ultra High Definition camera and captured 12,500 magnificent images of the Earth we live on, and turned it into this breathtaking timelapse.
