Brussels attacks: more arrests made in Europe

At least 10 people were detained in three European countries on Friday as security forces continued to investigate Tuesday’s deadly bombings in Brussels that killed over 31 people and wounded more than 250.

According to the BBC, three explosions took place in the Schaerbeek suburb of Belgium capital following a police operation.

Reports indicated that seven of the suspects were detained in Brussels while German and French police arrested three others suspected of involvement in the bombings.

An eyewitness told the BBC a man with a machinegun was shot in the legs by security forces in Brussels and Belgium TV showed bomb disposal personnel at the scene.
