Rose Circle Research Foundation Conference
Saturday, February 26, 2 p.m.
Masonic Hall (Grand Lodge of New York F&AM)
71 West 23rd Street, Manhattan
Presentations:
Brother (and Dr.) Christopher McIntosh, of Pilgrim Lodge No. 238 in London, is a scholar in the study of esoteric movements' importance to 18th century European history. He is a faculty member at the Centre of the Study of Esotericism, University of Exeter, England. His long out of print book, "The Rose Cross and the Age of Reason," is being republished this month by SUNY Press as part of its Western Esoteric Traditions series. Bro. McIntosh rarely lectures in the United States.
Brother Steven Burkle is a Mason in both Ohio and New Jersey lodges who has written college textbooks and more than 50 journal articles. Steven's interests include Alchemy, Astrology, Kabbalah, Tarot, Ceremonial Magick and Masonic symbolism.
This event is open to all interested in Esoteric studies. No affiliation with any particular order or body is required.
Admission only: $30 each.
Admission plus a copy of "The Rose Cross and the Age of Reason" signed by the Bro. McIntosh: $80 (the book is very rare, and is being reprinted this month by SUNY Press, so consider this to be a whopping bargain)
Reserve tickets here. Be aware that seating is very limited.
