Top o' the afternoon to all St. Patrick's Day revelers. Here's hoping the weather is as beautiful wherever you are as it is here today. As the proverb goes,When we drink, we get drunk.
When we get drunk, we fall asleep.
When we fall asleep, we commit no sin.
When we commit no sin, we go to Heaven.
So, let's all get drunk and go to heaven.
I came across a notice today that Deadwood, South Dakota has been celebrating St. Patrick's Day since Saturday, and that "The open container ordinance will be lifted from the Four Aces (bar) to the Masonic Temple."
I can't think of a finer act of responsive local government.
